PrismHR Enhances Platform with New Products and SOC 2 Compliance

PrismHR Employee Portal and PrismHR Pulse℠, provide enhanced mobile experience, alerts, notifications, workflows and more

PrismHR achieves SOC 2 Type 1 compliance

Hopkinton, MA — May 8, 2018 — PrismHR, the leading HR software platform for human resource outsourcing (HRO) service providers, announced expanded offerings: PrismHR Employee Portal and PrismHR Pulse℠ as well as System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 1 compliance.

With these announcements, PrismHR has furthered its ongoing commitment to deliver the most complete and efficient software platform for Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Administrative Services Organizations (ASOs).

Employee Portal

“HROs consistently cite, at the top of their wish list, the need for improved user experience across all their devices,” said Scott Cormier, Vice President, Product Management. “They tell us their clients want easier access to key employee information like pay stubs, time off and benefits—so that’s what we’ve delivered with the Employee Portal.”

The all new PrismHR Employee Portal enhances the employee experience with a modern, easy-to-use interface that can be used on any device, anywhere, giving Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Administrative Services Organizations (ASOs) a competitive edge with prospective clients.

With an advanced, fully customizable and brandable login screen and dashboard, it’s now easy for HROs to extend a client’s brand into the overall HR experience. PrismHR now makes it easy for employees to access the Employee Portal via the HRO’s own domain, extending their brand to clients. And with simplified setup and management, as well as easy access to key HR data and activities like pay stubs, benefits and PTO, the Employee Portal also reduces support costs.

PrismHR Pulse

“The way we communicate and conduct business today is increasingly in real-time and on the device in front of us. To keep pace with this shift in technology and clients’ expectations, HROs need to take a more proactive approach to client satisfaction and resolve issues quicker,” said Cormier. “So we’ve delivered new ways for HROs to receive alerts, and manage client cases, workflows and tasks with Pulse.”

PrismHR Pulse keeps your team organized and focused on resolving issues. In one centralized location, HRO employees can now take action on alerts and notifications, open, track and manage client cases, create and participate in workflows, and see dashboards that deliver insight into service performance and productivity.

A key feature, PrismHR Sense℠, monitors data in the PrismHR Platform and taps into Pulse to ensure HROs are notified via mobile, desktop or email alerts when a key change occurs. These alerts allow the client support team to take action and deliver the best possible service experience.

Pulse is built on ClientSpace technology, created by NetWise, which PrismHR acquired in 2017.  Additional modules powered by ClientSpace include Sales Management, Implementation, HR Admin, and Risk Mitigation which extend Pulse functionality with solution-specific tools and workflows. With the addition of these new offerings, the PrismHR Platform now delivers integrated software across the entire customer lifecycle that improves overall service and efficiency, increases sales, and reduces risk.

These new PrismHR products are available today. Existing PrismHR customers can enable Employee Portal globally or by individual client. Pulse is activated for current PrismHR customers during their renewal month. To get Pulse sooner, customers can contact their account representative. SOC 2 Type 1 Compliance

By achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance, an independent auditor has validated that PrismHR has the proper policy framework, technical controls and documentation to ensure that its systems and data are both highly secure and highly available. SOC 2 Type 1 compliance also independently validates that PrismHR has repeatable and auditable business processes for software delivery.

“We continually work to ensure that the PrismHR Platform is as secure and performant as possible,” said Lonnie Colman, Senior Vice President of Product Delivery. “Earning the SOC 2 Type 1 designation is another key milestone showcasing how PrismHR continues to lead the HR outsourcing software industry.”

Additionally, the organization is currently working on the next level of SOC compliance, SOC 2 Type 2.
